Local Politwitter brings together political Twitter from municipalities, which include such entities as cities, towns and villages. The goal of the site is to list all the local councils and councillors in Canada that are using Twitter.

This sub-site will function much like Politwiter.ca does, but until a significant directory of local politicians is created, the site will remain simple. It has been a large task to find all the federal and provincial politicians on Twitter for Politwitter.ca, finding all the local municipal politicians will probably be an even larger task.

That's why I'm asking for your help in finding and submitting local councils, councillors and alderman that have Twitter. If you want to play a more active role in creating the directory, please contact me.

Please use this simple form below to submit local politicians to be included in the database. Also contact me with ideas for additional categories.

Submit Local Political Tweeters
